Yes, underwater couples and engagement sessions are one of our most requested and most romantic offerings. Floating together in slow motion encourages tenderness, eye contact, and a kind of intimate stillness that simply does not exist in land-based engagement photography.
We choreograph gentle interactions like a slow kiss, an outstretched hand, or a synchronized rise toward the surface, which photograph beautifully and feel deeply meaningful to revisit. Couples receive a private warm-up session in the water together before the camera comes out, which helps both partners feel connected and confident. Wardrobe choices are coordinated rather than identical, often pairing a flowing gown with crisp linen trousers or a soft button-down shirt.
Hair and makeup is offered for both partners regardless of gender expression. Many couples choose to incorporate symbolic elements such as a ring exchange, a personal letter sealed in a bottle, or fabric in a meaningful color from their cultural tradition. Underwater engagement portraits are particularly powerful when displayed at the wedding itself, creating an unforgettable visual through-line for the celebration.
