Underwater photography costs more than a standard portrait session, and it should — it takes a second body in the water, specialised housings, far more planning, and a location that has to cooperate. Here is exactly what a session with Water Bear Photography costs and what that investment covers.

The price is not just the time in the water. Every photoshoot with Water Bear Photography includes a planning and design session, the photography session itself, an artwork selection session, print credit toward artwork, and our happiness guarantee.
Think in two parts: the session investment, and the artwork you want to live with afterwards. Most clients decide the artwork first — a wall piece for the hallway, an album for the shelf — then choose the session that carries enough print credit to cover it.
If a location requires park or facility admission, that is discussed openly during planning rather than appearing later.
At Water Bear Photography, pool-only underwater sessions start at $1,990 with $1,000 in print credit, and studio-plus-underwater sessions start at $2,990 with $2,000 in print credit.
Underwater maternity shoots start at $2,990 and include a $2,000 print credit. Studio and outdoor maternity sessions start at $990 with a $500 print credit.
Digital images start at $250 each and can be applied against your print credit along with artwork and albums.
